- The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors of production that affect the productivity of rice farming in shallow lowland swampy and mid swampy and determine the level of rationality of each factors of production, to analyze differences in productivity and income of rice farming in shallow swampy and swampy mid and analyze the correlation between production costs and productivity and the productivity and income generated by rice farmers in shallow lowland swampy and mid swampy. This research was conducted in the village of Teluk Kecapi District of Pemulutan Ogan Ilir subdistrict and was conducted in May and June 2016. The method used in this study is a survey method. The sampling method used in this research is disproportionate stratified random sampling at 27.27% of 110 rice farmers shallow lowland swampy with 30 farmers and at 53.57% from 56 rice farmers mid swampy with 30 farmers. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. To answer the first goal is to analyze the factors that influence the production of shallow lowland swampy rice farming and swampy mid is using a model of Cobb-Douglas production function. To answer the second objective is to analyze the differences between the productivity and income of shallow lowland swampy rice farming and swampy mid used two different test average. And to answer the third objective is to analyze the relationship between costs with productivity and productivity with income of shallow lowland swampy rice farming and swampy mid is used Pearson correlation parametric statistical test. The use of production factors are significantly positive towards shallow swampy rice production is the seed, fertilizer urea, insecticides, herbicides, labor. And the rational factors of production is the seed, insecticides, herbicides and labor. Productivity shallow lowland rice farmers is 1,938 kilograms per hectare and mid lowland rice farmers 2,594 kilograms per hectare with the t value - 6.019, which means rice productivity significantly different. Shallow lowland rice farmers income of Rp 4.498.545,83 and for lowland rice farmers mid Rp 7.422.736,94and obtained t value amounted to -9.772, which means the income of rice are significant. There is a strong relationship with a correlation value close to unity between production costs and productivity as well as between the productivity with income of shallow lowland swampy rice farming and mid lowland swampy.
