  • This research aim to determine the effect of tuber cleveage and gibberellic acid concentration treatment of growth Tuberose (Polianthes tuberose L.) seed and was conducted from November 2015 to May 2016 at the Experiment Field of Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University. This research used Factorial Random Block Design. The first factor were cleveage treatment is : intact tuber (U0), 2 cleveage tuber (U1) and 4 cleveage tuber (U2) and second factor were gibberellic acid concentration treatment, namely: 0 ppm (G0), 100 ppm (G1), 200 ppm (G2), 300 ppm (G3) and 400 ppm (G4). Research observation conducted at nursery and field. Observation at nursery showed that interaction of tuber cleveage and gibberellic acid concentration made effect for number of sprouts. Tuber cleveage slowed down sprout appear time and reduced number of sprouts, sprouts height nor plants height. Increased gibberellic acid concentration tend to reduced number of sprouts, sprouts height and plants height. Observation at field showed that interaction of tuber cleveage and gibberellic acid concentration made effects for number of leaves and leaf greenness level. Tuber cleveage made effects for number of tillers and number of leaves. Increased gibberellic acid concentration reduced leaf greenness level. Tuberose at combination between without cleveage and without gibberellic acid (G0U0) showed best growth. Tuberose with 4 cleveage tuber (U2) showed best growth with 86,67% life percentage. Tuberose without gibberellic acid showed best growth with life percentage reach 100%.
