- This study aims to describe and analyze bank operational activities effect on financial performance, to desribe and analyze bank operational activities effect on risk factors, to desribe and analyze risk factor effect on financial performance and to analyze the rule of risk factors as mediating effect bank operational activities on financial performance. The research was conducted in bank sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange with observation period was 2007-2011. Based on the criteria population defined, the sampling method was census. The number sample analyzed were 21 banks. The data analysis method was SmartPLS, because unobservable and rekursif. The research findings show bank operational activities has increased financial performance, the lower risk factor has increased financial performance, bank operational activities could decrease to risk factors. The rule of risk factor as partial mediating effect bank operational activities on financial performance of the bank. Keywords: Bank operational activities, risk factors, financial performance
