  • Prestasi Peningkatan Akademik (PPA) is a scholarship from the Directorate of Higher Education for outstanding students. PPA scholarships must pay attention to various criteria. There are 4 criteria for students who can receive scholarships namely cumulative achievement indexs, earning of parents, non-academic achievements and number of family dependents. Each criterion each has three subcriteria. The cumulative achievement indexs criteria have sub-criteria, namely low, medium and high, while earning of parentscriteria have low, medium and high sub-criteria, then according to the non-academic achievementscriteria have subcriteria ie none, few and number of family dependents to criteria there are no, few, and many. This study appliesthe Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process(F-AHP) method to help support decisions about criteria and subcriteria that influence the selection of PPA scholarship recipients. The results of theF-AHP calculation are obtained based on the most important criteria in the selection of PPA scholarship recipients: cumulative achievement indexs(45%), earning of parents (22%), non-academic achievements (18%) and number of family dependents (15%).To compare each subcriteria in the subcriteriaof cumulative achievement indexs, the criterion value, higher, takes precedence with the priority scale, 57% compared to medium, 37% and low 11%. For subcriteria in earning of parents can be seen 48%, medium 30%, and high 22%. For sub-criteria for non-academic achievement, the most decisive sub-criteria are those who have many achievements 69%, while for a little 30% and do not have 1% achievement. For the subcriteria in the number of dependents the priority of the most priority is a lot of dependents 67%, while there are no dependents 31% and a little dependents only 2%.
