  • Pasar 26 Ilir is one of the traditional markets in the city of Palembang, South Sumatra. The activity of street vendors is on the road so that street vendors are exposed to pollutant gas caused by passing vehicles. This study aims to determine the length of exposure, frequency of exposure, duration of exposure and concentrations of NO2 and SO2 in the Pasar 26 Ilir air of Palembang city. The type of research used was descriptive using quantitative research with cross sectional design and the analysis used was univariate and environmental health risk analysis (ARKL). The highest measurement results of NO2 concentration are at point III at the time of measurement at 15.00 WIB at 65.4 μg / Nm3, and the highest measurement of SO2 concentration is at point III at the time of measurement at 12:15 WIB 362.4 μg / Nm3, exposure time ≤ 8 hours / day, exposure frequency ≤ 357 days / year, duration of exposure ,5 9.5 years, intake NO2 ≤ 0,001233089 mg / kg / day (50%), intake SO2 ≤ 0,006590211 mg / kg / days (50%), RQ NO2> 1 (0%) and RQ SO2> 1 (8.3). It can be concluded that there are no street vendors at risk of exposure to NO2 and there are 7 street vendors who are at risk of exposure to SO2. So there needs to be attention from the government to provide a decent building for street vendors.
