  • This Research aims to get description about mathematical multiple representation skill in mathematics learning using problem solving approach. This research was descriptive qualitative with research subject was the students of X.IPA.5 SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya which the number of students was 27. Learning process was implemented with the steps of problem solving approach. The data collection technique used was through tests and interviews. Based on the research result, it was obtained that the student’s mathematical multiple representation description in mathematics learning by using problem solving approach was as follows : The students percentage with very good mathematical multiple representation skill was about 3,70 %, the students percentage with good mathematical multiple representation skill was about 48,15 %, the students percentage with sufficient mathematical multiple representation skill was about 29,63 %, then the students percentage with less mathematical multiple representation skill was about 18,52 %, and the students percentage with very less mathematical multiple representation skill was 0 %.
