EVALUASI PENGGUNAAN ANTIBIOTIK PADA PENDERITA GASTRITIS DAN ULKUS PEPTIKUM DI BANGSAL PENYAKIT DALAM RSUD OKU TIMUR TAHUN 2016

- Peptic ulcer and gastritis are upper gastrointestinal diseases that cause the body to undergo inflammation on the mucosa to the lining of the stomach muscle. Many patients who had gastric disorders and visited the hospitals motivated to do a research on the evaluation of antibiotic usage. This study aimed to determined the accuracy of antibiotics use at internal disease ward of east OKU hospital in 2016. This study was conducted by retrospective data retrieval and analyzed by descriptive analysis. There were 19 data semples obtained into the exclusion criteria and 15 samples were included in the inclusion criteria. The results of this study obtained show that the type of antibiotic that is always used is ceftriaxon (100%). Evaluation of the accuracy of the use of antibiotics was known to be 86.67% appropriate diagnosis, 73.33% precise indication, 73.33% precise drug, 100% precise dose, 100% prescription route administration, and 100% had no side effects. The criteria of the patients based on gender were 66.67% male, and 33.33% women, based on age was >45 years at 53%.
