  • The objective of this study was to know the implementation of 2013 Curriculum by the PPKn (Pancasila and Civics Education) teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja, starting from the preparation of teachers to design learning plans, the learning process management and the implementation of authentic assessment. The informan of this study were two teachers which were taken by using purposive sampling. This study used the descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data were collected through documentation, interview and observation. The tests of data validity included the tests of credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. Technique for analyzing the data used in this study were data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Based on the result of analysis data and discussion showed that the competencies of PPKn teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja in implementing the 2013 Curriculum is good enough.
