- The Effect of Multistage Ammoniation To Palm Press Fiber Digestibility in Sacco (Supervised by Dr. Ir. Armina Fariani, M.Sc and Arfan Abrar S.Pt.,M.Si., Ph. D). The purpose of this research was to study the effect of multistage ammoniation to palm press fiber digestibility in sacco. The research was held ini animal feed and nutrition laboratory, Agriculture Faculty Sriwijaya University. Palm press fiber was ammoniated by multistage technique and determined its digestibility value by in sacco methode. Non- ammoniated palm press fiber was used as control. T-test analysis sampel with 16 replication were used in this experiment. Dry matter degradation (%), N- amonia (mM), and total Volatile Fatty Acid were determined as observed parameters. All parameter were not significantly affected by multistage ammoniation palm press fiber to control. Dry matter degradation (%), N- amonia (mM), and total Volitile Fatty Acid of multistage ammonation were higher, by 45%,50% dan 12 % to control respectively.
