  • Maize is main food commodity on the priority in increase production in Indonesia. This research is important to keep this production stability. The aim of research was 1) to choose parental plant its used in reccurent phenotypic selection, 2) to evaluated growth and produced maize population resulted reccurent phenotypic selection, dan 3) to produce seeds for a next research.. This research used Randomized Group Design, where nested group in each plots with 5 repeated category. Sample plants 1-5 as category 1, plants 6-10 as category 2, plants 11-15 as category 3, plants 16-20 as category 4, plants 21-25 as category 5. As treatment factor was maize accessions. The results showed that four population cross result GS with Toray that is A7 (GS-5), A6 (Toray-2), A3 (GS-10 x Toray-1) and A8 (GS-10) form maize accessions with the highest productivity, with potential productivity 6,87 to 7,61 ton dry seed ha-1. This research produced seeds 21,21% to 65% that can be used for next research.
