HUBUNGAN PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF DENGAN PERKEMBANGAN BAYI USIA 6-12 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TABA KOTA LUBUKLINGGAU TAHUN 2019

- The development of an increasing structure and function of the body is complex in the abilities of gross motor, fine motor, language and personalsocial. Development disorder happens if the children did not reach the stages of development as expected, with a risk the children will left behind in the population. One of the efforts to improve the development of the baby is Exclusive Breastfeeding. Besides it, the development of a baby also influenced by environment such as education of mother, mother’s occupation, knowledge of mother, sex of child, and birth order of the child. This research aims to determine the relationship of exclusive breastfeeding with the development of infant’s age 6-12 months in Puskesmas Taba Lubuklinggau City. This research is using primary data with design cross sectional study and got the data from Puskesmas Taba. Total participants in this research is 70 people which is the sample is all of the mother who has a baby at the age 6-12 months that fulfill inclusion and exclusion criteria and sampling technique is accidental sampling and the researcher did the interview using KPSP (Questionnaire Pre Screening Development) and observation on mother and the baby. The result showed that p-value 0,000 so it can be concluded that there is a relation between exclusive breastfeeding with baby’s development at the age 6-12 months. For Taba health centre in Lubuklinggau city is suggested to do more do health promotion program on the knowledge of exlusive breastfeeding, the importance of early stimulus, and also monitoring DDTK (Early Detection Growth and Development).
