  • Sea Surface Temperature (SST) is an important factor in influencing marine life. Sea Surface Temperature measure using the remote sensing method. In situ data collection was carried out on December, 20th – 21st 2018 which covering 20 stations. The purpose of this study was to map and analyze sea surface temperature distribution in the East Coast Waters Central Bangka Regency using Landsat 8 Satellite Imagery in 2015-2019. Based on the Split Window Algorithm method R2 value obtained from the regression of image and in situ data is 0.8623. Map sea surface temperature was created using model y = -0.0588x3 + 5.0123x2 - 141.79x + 1358.6. Sea surface temperature in the East Coast Waters Central Bangka Regency in the past 5 years has changed fluktuatively with a range 28.4 – 30.1°C. Sea surface temperature values are getting closer to the land which is increasing due to the movement of fresswater mass from the rivers stream near the coast.
