  • This study aimed at finding out the effect of Vee diagram on students’ achievement of energy in life system at class VII.5 SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya (South Sumatera, Indonesia). This study using Pre-Experimental method with One Group Pretest- Posttest design. The sample of this study was taken using simple random sampling. Data collected by the method of testing for students’ achievement, by the method of documentation for students’ Vee diagram, by the method of observation for students’ activities and attitudes, and by the method of the questionnaire for students’ responses of the used Vee diagram. Students’ Vee diagram, activities, attitudes, and responses data were the supporting data in this study. The collected data was analyzed using t-test, Novak and Gowin’s rubric for students’ Vee diagram and descriptive statistic. Results showed that there was a significantly effect of Vee diagram on students’ achievement (n-gain) 0.76 with ccategorized into high. The mean score of Vee diagram made by students was 71.45, categorized into good. The mean score of students’ activities was 78.66, categorized into active. The mean score of students’ attitude was 80.88, categorized into very good. The mean score of the students’ responses was 60.00, categorized into good.
