This study aims to mapping land cover around the side of Lumpur River Estuary in the years of 2004 and 2014, to analyse the changes that happen arround 10 years (2004-2014) and to identify mangrove conditions. It is about 8 research station field data is pleasured by purpossive sampling. The types of mangrove and by using Landsat image data ETM+ in 2004 and 8 OLI Landsat image data in 2014. The maximum likehood supervised classification and the density types used to NDVI transformation. The results explained that the types of true mangroves found in side of Lumpur River Estuary OKI South Sumatera Province are Avicennia alba, Avicennia marina, Rhizophora mucronata, Rhizophora apiculata and Sonneratia alba.
