- The research aims to determine the effect of surface flow patterns and the distance to the performance separator roller tapping shavings of dried latex blobs. This research is using Random Group Factorial (RAKF) with 2 factors and three repetitions. The first factor is the distance of roller surface grooves A1 (3 mm) and A2 (6 mm), while the second factor is the roller surface groove pattern B1 (horizontal pattern), B2 (cross pattern), B3 (vertical pattern). The parameters observed effective working capacity, efficiency, dirt content, levels of substance evaporates. The results showed that the treatment pattern of horizontal and cross pattern provides no significant effect on the performance separator tapping shavings of dried latex blobs. Treatment of vertical pattern provides a very significant effect on the performance separator tapping shavings of dried latex blobs. Treatment of the vertical groove pattern with a distance of 3 mm is the best treatment with effective working capacity of the highest of 9.40 kg / hr and efficiency of the highest of 5,82%. Treatment patterns of vertical distance of 3 mm is the best treatment that produces an average impurity content of the most low of 5.23% and levels of substance evaporates most average low of 7.94%.
