MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 5 PALEMBANG

- This study aims to determine how the level of students' motivation in class XI SMA Negeri 5 Palembang. The method used in this research is quantitative with the type of survey research. Data collection technique used is the psychological model of Likert scale, with the number of 37 items a statement distributed to 72 respondents from class XI randomly selected by random sampling technique. Data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive by using a percentage (%). The result showed that the level of motivas study includes three aspects, namely the need to learn, a desire to succeed in learning, their hopes and ideals of the future, are likely to be in the medium category with a percentage (65%), in the high category with a percentage (21%) and in the low category with the percentage (14%). This means that in general all respondents indicate the level of students' motivation level high school class XI 5 Palembang are in a moderate.
