PERILAKU KONSUMSI PANGAN RUMAH TANGGA DAN PENDAPATAN USAHATANI KARET RAKYAT SAAT TERJADINYA PENURUNAN HARGA KARET DI KECAMATAN TALANG KELAPA KABUPATEN BANYUASIN

- The purpose of this research were : (1) To count and analyze the income level of public’s rubber farm during dan before rubber markdown at Talang Kepala, Banyuasin. (2) To measure farmer’s behavior of household food consumption during and before rubber markdown at Talang Kepala, Banyuasin. (3) To analyze relation of farmer’s behavior of household food consumption and the income level of public’s rubber farm during dan before rubber markdown at Talang Kepala, Banyuasin. Implementation of data collection in the field took place in May till June 2016 in Talang Buluh Village of Talang Kelapa, Banyuasin. The research method in this research is a survey method. The sampling method used in this research is the method of simple random sampling taken as many as 30 farmers of the sample population by 208 farmers. Primary datas are obtained from direct interview and secondary datas are obtained from some literature abd source related to the this research. The result of research showed total production of public’s rubber farm before rubber markdown average are 1.471 kg per year per hectare dan total production of public’s rubber farm during rubber markdown average are 1.376 kg per year per hectare. For average revenue-received by farmer public’s rubber farm before rubber markdown was Rp.12.106.539 per hectare per year and average revenue-received by farmer public’s rubber farm during rubber markdown was Rp.9.038.856 per hectare per year. Farmer’s behavior of household food consumption before rubber markdown it showed from average score in 22,73 (range 23,32 < x ≤ 30,00) and farmer’s behavior of household food consumption during rubber markdown it showed from average score in 18,10 (range 16,66 < x ≤ 23,32). Total allocation of expenditure in farmer’s behavior of household food consumption activities before rubber markdown it showed from Rp. 11.104.000/month or average are Rp.300.116/month and then total allocation of expenditure in farmer’s behavior of household food consumption activities during rubber markdown it showed from Rp.7.036.000/month or average are Rp.234.533/month. The results of data analysis using Spearman correlation test calculations there is no coleration between the income level of public’s rubber farm before rubber markdown with farmer’s behavior of household food consumption at Talang Buluh Village by rs count -0,317 < rs table 0,3610.
