SPESIES DAN JUMLAH TANGKAPAN LALAT BUAH PADA TANAMAN PEPAYA (Carica papaya L.) DENGAN METIL EUGENOL DAN BERBAGAI JENIS ATRAKTAN

- The purpose of research was to find out number and fruit flies species caught on papaya plants used methyl eugenol trap and various of attractant on farmer’s a papaya plantation in Pulau Semambu Village, Sub-district north Inderalaya, District Ogan Ilir and farmer’s papaya plantation in Talang-taling Village, Sub-district Gelumbang, District Muara Enim. The research was conducted from January to February 2019. Fruit flies sampling was carried out using 6 traps of methyl eugenol and 24 attractant traps at each observation location. From research observation obtained fruit flies with a catch of 9,634 individues during the six weeks observation. Fruit flies that are caught in papaya plant 1 were on average 535.33 individues per week, while fruit flies are caught on papaya plant 2 were an average 1.070,33 individues per week. The most caught species of fruit flies was B. papayae with an average catch of 3.442 individues
