SIFAT FISIS DAN MEKANIS TANAH PADA RUAS JALAN ALAMSYAH RATU PERWIRANEGARA
Daftar Isi:
- Soil testing is a benchmark in planning, because soil characteristics will affect the structure of the road. For this reason, it is necessary to test the physical and mechanical properties of the land, especially along the Alamsyah Ratu Perwiranegara road, Palembang City, given that there are many road damage in the area. Tests carried out were testing of moisture content, specific gravity, atterberg limit, filter analysis of free and consolidated compressive strength. The results of soil property testing, the water content obtained on average has a value that is above 50% and the highest is found at STA 3 + 170 depth of 2 meters. Testing the specific gravity results obtained ranged from 2,239-2,482. For the soil consistency limits, the highest liquid boundary value is found at STA 1 + 300 2 meters deep, which is 73%, with a plastic limit value of 51.55% and a plasticity index of 21.45%. As well as from the screening analysis, passing the no. 200 filter is around 80%. The highest value of the consolidation coefficient (cv) is obtained at STA 1 + 300 depth 2 m 0.0088 cm2 / sec with the compression index (cc) is 0.6611. The value of compressive strength (qu) at that point is 14.3 kN / m2, with a cohesion value (cu) which is 7.15 kN / m2 and has very soft soil consistency. From the test results DCP obtained a CBR Design value of 7.85% and 8.12%. The USCS soil classification system, five samples are inorganic clay (MH) and one of them is STA 3 + 170 at a depth of 4 m is inorganic clay with high plasticity (CH). While based on soil classification based on the AASHTO system, the results showed that the soil in the six samples was clay.
