Farm machinery</subject><description>The aims of the research were to determine the effect of leaf extract application of Puerraria javanica and Axonopus compressus on the growth of corn hybrid (Zea mays L.), to determine the optimum leaf extract concentrate of Puerraria javanica and Axonopus compressus that applicable for hybrid corn (Zea mays L.). This research was conducted on 10th - 25th August 2016 in the green house and Plant Physiology Laboratory of the Department of agronomy, University of Sriwijaya. The design was completely randomized design factorial with 2 factors referred leaf extract P1 (Puerraria javanica), P2 (Axonopus compressus) and the concentration of extract N1 (control), N2 (30%), N3 (50%), N4 (70%) and N5 (90%). By retrieving 10 combined treatments and repeated 3 times, so there were 30 experimental plants. The results showed that the leaf extract solution of Axonopus compressus highly significant influenced dried germ weight, plant height and leaf length 3-15 dap, but not significantly different on root length and hypocotyl lenght. The leaf extract solution of Puerraria javanica highly significantly effected on plant height and leaf length 10-15 dap, but not significantly different on hypocotyl length, dried germ weight and root length. This research showed that higher consentrate that applied on, more hampered the germination and the growth of hybrid corn. Extract consentration N3 (50%) was the optimum consentration that applicable on hybrid corn by having no significantly different with N1 (0%) and able to suppress the growth of weeds significantly based on a research by testing the leaf extract of Puerraria javanica on Borreria alata that is used to be found at corn field.</description><date>2017-01-04</date><type>Thesis:Thesis</type><type>PeerReview:NonPeerReviewed</type><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/17811/1/RAMA_54211_05121007127_0022096204_01_front_ref.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/17811/2/RAMA_54211_05121007127_0022096204_02.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/17811/3/RAMA_54211_05121007127_0022096204_03.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/17811/4/RAMA_54211_05121007127_0022096204_04.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/17811/5/RAMA_54211_05121007127_0022096204_05.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/17811/6/RAMA_54211_05121007127_0022096204_06_ref.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/17811/7/RAMA_54211_05121007127_0022096204_07_lamp.pdf</identifier><identifier> SIMANULLANG, HENDRA EDISON and Priyadi, Dwi Putro and Halimi, Entis Sutisna (2017) PENGARUH KONSENTRASI EKSTRAK DAUN PUERRARIA JAVANICA DAN AXONOPUS COMPRESSUS TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN JAGUNG HIBRIDA ( ZEA MAYS L.)
