- Many countries have realized the importance of renewable energy sources utilization as an alternative for non-renewable energy such as petroleum, coal, and gas which has evoked very damaging effects on the earth. Solar power is an alternative energy that can be used to produce electricity. The usage of a battery as a media for electricity power storage needs to be considered well due to batteries are the most vulnerable to damage and have the highest price compared to the other components. The pattern of charging and discharging a battery in the undercharge condition presumed to be affecting the battery's life in this case is the cycle number of the battery. This research was done using a battery management system and capacity tester. Based on this research there was a comparison graph of battery discharge time and battery capacity reduction rate which showed the difference of discharge time due to the influence of room temperature and poorly device sensitivity. The relation between battery capacity and cycle numbers cannot be seen due to the limited research time.
