- THE EFFECT OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE AND MACRO ECONOMIC CONDITIONS ON FINANCIAL DISTRESS PROBABILITY IN SUB PROPERTY AND REAL ESTATE COMPANIES LISTED IN INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE Based on the analysis that has been conducted, the author concluded that the influence of financial performance variables (CR, DER, ROA and TATO) and macroeconomic variables (inflation and interest rates) on financial distress. This research was conducted on manufacturing companies in sub property and real estate that have z-score value criteria calculated using the Altman method of less than 1.81-2.67 and listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015 to 2017. The analytical method used is an inferential statistical data analysis. The sample used in this study was 20 companies. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the relationship between current ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on assets and total asset turnover has a significant positive effect. This shows that the higher the variables owned, the higher the level of possibility of experiencing financial distress and vice versa. Another case with inflation and interest rates that have a negative and not significant effect on financial distress.
