  • The title of this scientific paper is the Effect of Internal Electronic Office Media Effectiveness on Fulfilling Information Needs of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divre III Palembang. The research aims to determine how much influence the effectiveness of Electronic Office internal media on meeting the information needs of employees of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divre III Palembang. Furthermore, this research uses the theory of Internal Media Effectiveness according to Rahmat Kriyantono and Guha's theory of Information Needs. This type of research is quantitative. The sample used was 95 employees of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divre III Palembang. Data collection techniques used are the distribution of questionnaires, observation and documentation studies. The compilation of data was using the instrument test, simple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that e-office internal media is effective for meeting employee information needs. The second result concludes that Internal Electronic Office Media Effectiveness consisted of Reader Reach, Reader Response, Media Knowledge and Media Influence there was a significant influence on meeting employee information needs consisting of the latest information needs, routine information needs, in-depth information needs and information needs at a glance that can be seen from tcount> t table which is 7.178> 1.986. While the magnitude of the effect of media effectiveness on meeting the information needs of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divre III Palembang for 35.7%.
