  • Mangrove forests have a variety of organisms that live and interact, such as insects. The insect has a very important role in an ecosystem. Diversity of insects believed to be used as one of the bioindikator condition of an ecosystem is one Diptera. Diptera is one of a group of insects that are instrumental in the sustainability of mangrove ecosystems, especially flies. Some species of flies act as predators, parasites, plant pollinators, contribution to maintain the fertility of the soil with organic material outlines of dead organisms and some other kind of role as the food chain fish, small shrimp, crabs and other animals. Exploration of Diptera is very necessary to know the type and composition of the Diptera in the Sembilang National Park Restoration Area.Research Inventory is done by using Diptera method porpusive sampling based on different ecological zones in the Sembilang National Park Restoration Area. This research was conducted in April and September 2015. This study used 3 sampling method : Attractan Trap, Yellow trap., and Light Sheet Trap The research results obtained consist : Genus Pollenia, Minettia, Neotephritis, Bactrocera, Drosophila, Thricops, Sarcophaga, Fannia, Tipulogaster, Anopheles. The composition of the Diptera in Parit 5, 7 and 8 consis t: 9 family, 10 genus and 144 individuals with each location Parit 8 consist : 7 family, 8 genus and 44 individuals, Parit 7 found 2 family, 2 genus and 91 individuals, Parit 5 found 5 family, 5 genus and 9 individuals.
