- The objectives of this study are (1) Describe the factors that influence rice farmers in the application of Combine Harvester machines in Kotanegara Village Madang Suku II Subdistict OKU Timur District (2) Analyze the efificiency of production for farmers using and non-users of Combine Harvester machines in Kotanegara Village Madang Suku II Subdistict OKU Timur District (3) Analyze the income diffrences for farmers using and non-users of the Combine Harvester machine in Kotanegara Village Madang Suku II Subdistict OKU Timur District. The location determination is done intentionally (Purposive sampling location). Data collected are primary data and secondary data. The research method used is the survey method while the sampling method used is a disproportionate random sampling method. Based on the results of the Binary Logistic Regression test with SPSS version 20, the factors that significantly influence farmers decision to use Combine Harvester machines in Desa Kotanegara are education, land area and farming experience. While the factors don’t have a significant effect are the number of dependents and income. The use of harvesting systems for rice farmers using Combine Harvester machines in Kotanegara Village on land area, seeds, pesticides, fertilizer and labor has been efficient. The use of non-rice farmer harvesting systems using Combine Harvester machine in Kotanegara village seeds, fertilizers and pesticides has been efficient, Wheras the land area and labor are inefficient. There is a difference in income between rice farmers and non-users of Combine Harvester machines with a difference in income of Rp.2,642,207.86 per hectare per planting season.
