- The purpose of this study were to (1) Measure the condition of social capital in a group of farmers swamp buffaloes at Pulau Layang village, subdistrict Pamapangan, district Ogan Komering Ilir, (2) Measure the condition of agribusiness farming system swamp buffaloes at Pulau Layang village, subdistrict Pampangan district Ogan Komering Ilir, (3) analyze the corelation between social capital and agribusiness farming system swamp buffaloes at Pulau Layang village, subdistrict Pampangan, district Ogan Komering Ilir. This research had been conducted at Pulau Layang village subdistrict Pampangan district Ogan Komering Ilir. The data was taken on April 2016. The sampling method in this research was used the method of census. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Based on the results of the study the average total score that describes the condition of social capital in a group of farmers swamp buffaloes at Pulau Layang village are at high criteria with average score 154.57. While the average total score that describes the condition of the agribusiness farming system swamp buffaloes in a group of farmers included in the criteria is not well with the amount of the average score 43.77. Based on the test results of Spearman Rank correlation positive between trust and raising cattle swamp buffalo, there is a positive relationship between social norms with maintenance and capital / support, there is a positive relationship between social interaction and marketing, there is no real relationship between confidence in the agribusiness system ( production processing, marketing, financing / support), there is no real relationship between social norms with production processing and marketing of products. There is no real relationship between social interaction and agribusiness systems (maintenance, pegolahan production, financing / support), and there is no real connection between social networks and agribusiness systems (maintenance, production processing, marketing, financing / supporting) the livestock business swamp buffalo.
