  • This study aims to determine which teaching styles according to Grasha’s teaching style expert, authority, personal model, facilitator and delegator who tend to be considered very important by the teachers, and teaching styles that tend to be highly expected by the students at High School Srijaya Negara Palembang. This study used survey method by using two instruments questionnaire that has tested the validity of each of the respondent teachers and students. The collected data were analyzed descriptively. All members of the teacher population as many as 50 teachers are used as samples, while the student respondents taken by random sampling technique as many as 40 students. It can be concluded that the teaching style of the most considered important by teachers in high school Srijaya Negara Palembang is delegator and expert, there is no difference between male teachers and female teachers, and teaching styles that tend to be highly expected by the students of high school Srijaya Negara Palembang is personal model, facilitator, and expert.
