  • This research aims to determine the relationship between locus of control with academic procrastination in class XI SMA Negeri 9 Palembang. This research used descriptive correlation with the type of survey research. These samples included 36 students who were selected using proportional random sampling technique. The research instrument used to measure the locus of control and academic procrastination psychology students in the form of a scale model Likert scale. Data analysis using Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The results showed a negative (-) between the locus of control with academic procrastination in class XI SMA Negeri 9 Palembang. This means that the higher the locus of control possessed by students, the lower the academic procrastination in class XI SMA Negeri 9 Palembang.
