The field practice was aimed to obtain practical experience and knowledge about maintenance techniques of eggplant plant and to knew eggplant’s production with and without trimming treatment in Balai Agrotecnopark, Research and Technology Ministry. This field practice was conducted at Balai Agrotecnopark Bakung village district Indralaya Utara Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan. From November 2013 to Desember 2013. Implementation of this field practice with observation methode and follow maintenance of eggplant plant activites in Balai Agrotecnopark. The result of this filed practice has been indicated that maintenance of eggplant plants with trimming treatment showed not significant improvment if compared with plants without trimming.
