- The needs of the current parking lot can not be denied anymore, especially in places that are crowded in the visit. Circumstances such as these require good management in order to minimize the time and security. Thus conducted a study using digital image processing system for parking. Digital image processing is intended to monitor and determine the location of empty parking with input in the form of imagery parking area taken using a digital camera then entered into a programming language C # where the image of an empty parking lot into the image of reference that will be processed by the image processing such as cropping, grayscale, thresholding method color space HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value) and is calculated by the percentage of the image that has been determined. The output is information about the number of empty parking locations, the number of vehicles parked and the parking areas are available. From experiments conducted on HSV study if the process goes well, the results are displayed 100% accurate without error. By using digital image processing, it is expected the process of finding an empty parking location not take because it was the availability of information.
