- This study aims to analyze the "Role of Village and Community Governments in the Use of Peatlands (Study in Talang Rimba Village, Cengal Sub-District, OKI Regency)" the problem in this study was the obstacle of the village government's role in utilizing peat land in the form of internal and external factors. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses a theory from David Berry. The results of this study found that the village government and the Talang Rimba community used peat land. In addition, there are several obstacles faced by village governments and communities in the use of peatlands.
