DETERMINAN KEPUTUSAN PEKERJA MANDIRI MENJADI PESERTA JAMINAN KESEHATAN NASIONAL DI KECAMATAN INDRALAYA UTARA TAHUN 2017

- To be a member of national health insurance (JKN)is must for all Indonesian citizens, including self- employed.Based on JKN membership data in 2017, the number of participants registered in North Indralaya District was 24.14% of 36,786 people. The purpose of this study is to determine the determinants self-employee decision to be member of national health insurance participant in kecamatan indralaya utara year 2017. This study uses a quantitative method with cross sectional design. The population in the study is all the people who are work as self-employed in Kecamatan Indralaya Utara. The study sample consisted of 108 respondents, with using cluster sampling and conclusive sampling technique. The analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis by statistical chi square test. The results of univariate analysis revealed that 18.50% of respondents decided to be member of JKN. The majority of respondents have high education (55.60), high knowledge (58.30%), high trust (54.60%), negative perception (63.90%), negative attitude (56.50%), perception of health facilities negative (56.50%), low income (58.30%), close distance of health facilities (81.50%), support of family is low (55.60%), and support of officer is low 58.30%. The results of bivariate analysis are known variables that have a p-value <0.005, namely knowledge (p-value = 0.011), trust (p-value = 0,000), perception (p-value = 0,000), attitude (p-value = 0,000), income (p-value = 0.002), family support (p-value = 0.005). Variables that have p-value ≥ 0.005 are education (p-value = 0.234), perception of health facilities (p-value = 0.162), distance of health facilities (p-value = 0.355), support from staff (p-value = 0.112) . The conclusion of the research results is the small percentage of self-employed workers who decide to be member of JKN. Variables related to the decision of self-employed workers to be member of JKN p are the variables of trust, perception, attitude, income and family support. It is expected that BPJS health will increase socialization and promotion of JKN so that the benefits of JKN can be felt as a whole by the community so that
