  • Seaweed is one of the marine commodities thas has many enthusiast, one of them is E. spinosum. This type of seaweed has lot of interest because of its ability to produce carrageenan. However the cultivation of seaweed from Eucheuma has encounteres many obstacles, due to physical, chemical and biological factors. The biggest obstacle on seaweed cultivation is disease attack. One disease that commonly attacks seaweed is ice- ice. This research is to determine the number of isolates obtained while identify the isolate bacteria from E. spinosum seaweed which is attacked by ice-ice, with the addition of pathogenicity test to see the level of pathogenicity of each identified bacteria. The research was conducted in October 2018-January 2019 at The Fish Quarantine Station of Fisheries Product Quality and Safety Control, Palembang and The Main Center for Mariculture Development (BBPBL), Lampung. Bacterial identification was done by MicrobactTM Identification Kit method, while the pathogenicity test was carried ou using the design of the RAL (Complete Random Design) for 7 days. The results of the sudy showed that 5 isolates ere identified with bacteria V. alginolitcus, A. hydrophila, P. aeruginosa and P. myxofaciens. Pathogencity test showed that A. hydrophila bacteria had the fastest of infection rate which was offset by the highest weight lost rate during the testing process
