- This study aims to look at "The Choice of Urban-Based Urban Transport Users in the City of Palembang (Study in the Bukit Lama Village, Ilir Barat I District, Palembang City). The problems that will be raised by researchers are How the Condition of Urban Transport Users Before and After Using Gojek in Bukit Lama Village, Ilir Barat I Subdistrict, Palembang City, and the factors that influence urban transport users in using Gojek-based online transportation. The method used in this study is using qualitative descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The theory used in this research is James Coleman's theory of Rational Choice Theory, where this theory talks about Actors and Resources. The results of this study found that the conditions of users before and after using Gojek and the background that made users choose to use online shuttles gojek. From this it makes a difference to users when before and after using gojek. Keywords: Rational Choice: Actors (Users), resources (urban transportation).
