S.E., M.B.A This study aims to analyze and obtain empirical evidence about the effects of investment opportunity set, debt policy, firm size and profitability to dividend policy. The population in this study is all company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in period of 2009-2013 was 396 companies. Sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, so there were 25 companies that required established criteria. Analysis method of this study used multiple regression. Partially the results of this study showed that investment opportunity set and profitability had positif significantly effect to dividend policy, while debt policy and firm size didn’t had significantly effect to dividend policy. Simultaneously, investment opportunity set, debt policy, firm size and profitability had significant effect to dividend policy. The implications of this study such as: investors can be more carefully in assessing the company chosen to invest.
