The study aimed to analyze the income of family heads having boarding house businesses in ilir Barat I Subdistrict of Palembang City. The primary data used 100 respondents. The data were collected using interview. observation, and questionnaire with proportional random sampling. The technique of data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that ( 1) the types of jobs, education, and number of dependants had a positive and significant influence against the income of the family heads living in Ilir Barat I Subdistrict of Palembang City.
