This study is descriptive study which aim to find out the percentage of SMP students' ability in solving national examination problems based on bloom taxonomy. The subject of this study was IX grade students of SMP N | Palembang which consist of 37 student. Data used in study was the result of multiple choices and essay. The result of the study showed that SMP studenis' ability in solving national cxamination based on bloom taxonomy at knowledge level (CI) was 75,69 categorized enough, at understanding level (C2) 59,12 categorized very low, at application level (C3) 62,19 categorized low, and at analysis level (C4) 67,40 categorized low.
