- This study examines the problems regarding the Quality of Marriage Services in the Office of Religious Affairs in 1lir Barat I Palembang, which still has several problems, namely the lack of public interest in using the marriage hall in the marriage contract process at the Palembang Ilir Barat I Religious Affairs Office. The purpose of this study was to find out how the quality of marital services and why many brides do not use marriage halls at the Office of religious Affairs in Ilir Barat I Palembang City. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The focus of this study is the quality of service that refers to the Parasurman-Zeithaml-Berry theory regarding service quality and the factors that influence the bride and Groom in deciding to use or not use a marriage hall. Data obtained from primary data is through interviews with parties related to this study, as well as secondary data, namely data obtained through written documentation and sources related to the services of the marriage hall. Based on the results of analysis and research in the field, it was concluded that the quality of marital services in the Office of Religious Affairs in Ilir Barat I Palembang City was good, but for prospective brides carrying out marriage contracts at home had become a culture in the family.
