- This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on employee performance at the Lahat District Food Security Service. The data used are primary data through the distribution of questionnaires directly to respondents, namely Lahat District Food Security Service employees with the status of Civil Servants (PNS) and Voluntary Workers (TKS) totaling 36 people, taken by the census method. The statistical method used is a simple regression analysis. The conclusion of this study is that work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance in the Lahat District Food Security Service. Researchers suggest that immediate improvements be made in order to increase employee motivation in the future, especially on the timeliness of incentives, clarity and fairness in promotion of positions and career paths, willingness to cooperate with each other and help in carrying out work, willingness to give praise and appreciation and opportunities fair for every employee to attend training and education and training.
