KAJIAN TEKNIS PEMODELAN GEOMETRI HASIL METODE AUGER MINING PADA LERENG HIGHWALL UNTUK CADANGAN BATUBARA MARGINAL DI PASER, KALIMANTAN TIMUR
Daftar Isi:
- Area of research is in the area of di Paser, East Kalimantan is an area that has potential for coal deposits. Some of the location of the coal pit in the area has reached the pit limit, while the remaining coal reserves is still quite a lot and thick. To get coal concession thus done plan to take marginal coal reserves that are on the highwall. Auger mining method is a good alternative method to be applied because of the low cost and easy technology. This study applies a numerical modeling method with finite element method with the software Ansys. Results of the study indicates that, this method is safe and good for developed views of security factor analysis results and deformation that occurs after the simulated auger hole. Auger drill holes made with a depths of 50, 80, 120, and 200 meters. The application of auger mining method is investigated from the results of the evaluation and simulation has been done using ansys, gave the following results: the geometry of auger mining in research is designed with spacing between the panels of 0.5 metre, barrier pillar 3 metres, panels 5, drill auger mining and slope of 60; for the value of the safety factor indicates the value is stable. Where to depths of 50 metres value of safety factor is 1,9804, 80 meters depth value of safety factor is 1,8603, 120 meters depth value of safety factor is 1,8279, and 200 metres depth value of safety factor is 1,6623; for a total value of deformation suggests a value that is not great. Where to depths of 50 metres total maximum deformation is 0.013438 metres, a depth of 80 meters total maximum deformation is 0.013436 metres, a depth of 120 metres total maximum deformation is 0.013520 metres and a depth of 200 metres the total deformation is maximum of 0.013883 meters. The acquisition of marginal coal that can be acquired for one hole auger drill openings depth 50 meters is 165.3210 tonnes; a depth of 80 meters is 264.5136 tonnes; depth 120 meters is 396.7704; and to a depth of 200 metres is as much as 661.2840 tons. So the coal recovery obtained in the application of the method of geometric simulation of auger mining with a designed recovery values obtained is 19%.
