  • Classroom handling research is designed to improve the learning outcomes of 5th grade students of 45 palembang elementary school on human and environmental subtheme. The subject of this research is 5th grade students of 45 Palembang elementary school totalling 22 pupils, consisting of 9 males and 13 females. The result shows (1) the implementation of project based learning model to the 5th grader of 45 Palembang elementary school is able to improve student activity. Students present increased learning ability of classical compeleteness and average value on every cycle. On cycle 1, the classical completeness is 68.18% with average value of 70,45. On cycle 2, the classical completeness is 77.27% with average value of 73.63. and on cycle 3, the classical completeness is 81.82% with average value of 76.36. students learning outcomes increse gradually from speech to PBL model. The subjects give very postive responses to this PBL model. The obstacle of this model is that not all group members participate in the completion of group tasks.
