ANALISIS PERILAKU MEROKOK PADA SISWA SMP SRIGUNA PLAJU PALEMBANG KAJIAN TEORI PERILAKU BERENCANA

- Current smoking behavior is increasing and evenly distributed, not only in adults, but also has become a lifestyle for teenagers. Likewise with the Palembang city teenagers according to the case notes from the Palembang City Health Office, the Sriguna Palembang Middle School found that most cases of smoking in schools were 6.6% compared to other schools. This study aims to analyze smoking behavior in Sriguna Palembang Middle School students based on the concept of planned behavioral theory. Data was taken by FGD method and in-depth interviews consisting of 17 informants, namely 6 smoker students as key informants taken data through FGD, 6 smoker close friends through in-depth interviews, and 5 other informants from teachers, counseling guidance teachers, and principals Sriguna Palembang Middle School also through in-depth interviews. The results of this study indicate that students cannot stop smoking because of dependence and are supported by easy access to cigarettes and the environment exposed to smoking behavior. The impact of smoking behavior on students is the psychological factors of students who tend not to care about themselves and the surrounding environment, while the form of sanctions that have been given to students does not cause a flaring effect, so this attitude can affect the effectiveness of learning activities in school. In addition, the school must reinforce regulations regarding smoking bans starting from making written regulations, prohibiting the sale of cigarettes around the school, giving sanctions for dropping out to students who are found smoking in school, and making effective extracurricular hours to reduce smoking in school.
