- This paper entitled “The development of rubber plantation in Lubuk Batang Sub District Ogan Komerig Ulu Regency from 2010 to 2015 (the Material Contribution in the History of Economy Course)”. The issues raised were about how the history of plantation in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency,the development of rubber plantation of the people in Ogan Komering Ulu from 2010 to 2015, and the development of rubber plantation of the people in Lubuk Batang Sub District from 2010 to 2015. The purpose of this study were to find out how the history of rubber plantation of the people in Ogan Komering Ulu from 2010 to 2015, and the development of rubber plantation of the people in Lubuk Batang Sub District from 2010 to 201. This study used the historical method by collecting the sources in the from of data then were compiled systematically. The aspects observed in this study were productivity and area of plantation. The results frpm data obtained and processed showed that the development of rubber plantation of the people were still developing, especially in Lubuk Batang Sub District relying on the plantation sector as the main source of the majority of people in meet their economics.
