PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERHITUNG ANAK KELOMPOK B MELALUI MEDIA BALOK CUISENAIRE DI TAMAN KANAK – KANAK MEKAR JAYA OGAN KOMBERING ILIR

- This study aims to improve numeracy skills through the use of media in kindergarten beam Cuisenaire Mekar Jaya OKI 2015/2016 Academic Year. The subjects were children in group B, amounting to 18 children. Research is a form of class action, and lasts for two cycles. Each cycle consists of four phases: planning, action, observation and reflection. Variables that targets for improvement in classroom action research are numeracy, while the variable being improvement solutions is the media beam Cuisenaire. Data collection techniques using observation, testing and documentation. No assessment indicators used four indicators, namely sorting, linking, count the number and summation. After the first cycle and the second cycle, didapatlah increase numeracy skills of children. Increasing count can be seen from the number of children who meet the minimum criteria for completeness. In the first cycle were 13 children or 72% who earn a minimum value are categorized BSH and the second cycle increased to 16 or 89% of children who scored> BSH. Based on the results of the study concluded that the media beam Cuisenaire can improve numeracy skills of children in kindergarten kelomppok Mekar Jaya OKI 2015/2016 school year and recommended media Cuisenaire beams can be used in teaching numeracy in Kindergarten - childhood.
