- This research aims to determine the use of sewing in PKBM Harapan which is seen from the aspects of knowledge, skills, mental attitude, work and income. The research used quantitative descriptive methods. The sample of the research were those who were graduated from the sewing course in 2012, which the total number were 14 people. The sample technique used in this research was purposive sampling. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The results of the research showed that the community who were graduated from life skills programs in the form of sewing in PKBM Harapan have obtained the benefit of the program based on the aspects that have been seen. So it can be concluded that life skills programs in the form of sewing in PKBM Harapan have greatly provided benefits for those who are graduated of the program indicated by work in accordance with the skills acquired and income.
