  • Compliance of pregnant women to takingiron suplementation still has low scope. This is associated with the pregnant women’s view of the iron suplementation itself and the risks appearing during pregnancy. This study aims to look the perception of pregnant women towards compliance in taking iron suplementation in the Working Area of Campus Public Health Center Palembang. This research used quantitative method with cross sectional design. The population was pregnant women who had received 90 items iron suplementation with a sample of 62 respondents selected using simple random sampling. Data collection was carried out by interview method using questionnaire. Data analysis technique was carried out by multiple logistic regression test. Statistics show that the variables related to compliance behavior is self efficacy and cues to action, while variables that are not related to compliance behavior are perceptions of susceptibility, perception of severity, perception of benefits, and perception of barriers. The result of multivariate analysis found that the most influential variable on the compliance behavior is the cues to action. Self efficacy and cues to action are risks that cause compliance behavior of pregnant women takin iron suplementation in the Working Area of Campus Public Health CenterPalembang, while the perceptual variables of susceptibility, perception of severity, perception of benefit, and perception of barriers act as confounding. Public health workers need to emphasize the information of the importance of compliance involve, pregnant women who compliance need to participate as role modes, and familiy need to participate as a companion
