- A variety of previous researches found Corporate Entrepreneurship was one of important factors which could increase Company Performance. This study investigated the effect of Corporate Entrepreneurship on Company Performance of crumb rubber in Palembang. Corporate Entrepreneurship is composed of three Dimensions, i.e. Innovation, Pro-activity, and Readiness to Take any Risk (Innovativeness Dimension, Proactiveness Dimension, and Risk-Taking Dimension). The variables used as indicators to measure Company Performance in last three years (2003 ? 2005) were use based on the levels of growth criteria of performance Sales, Profit Margin (benefits), and manpower (Employee). The data were collected by doing census to the 10 factories located in Palembang. They were analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The statistics methods used were correlation, multiple regression analysis, and test classic (test assumption multiple regression). The research findings showed Corporate Entrepreneurship was related to Company Performance of crumb rubber processing factories in Palembang. Dimension of Pro-activity was positively and significantly related to Company Performance of crumb rubber processing factories (value of significance < 0.05, i.e. 0.001). Dimension of Innnovation, on the other hand, had negative relationship and did not significantly affect Company Performance (value of significance > 0.05, i.e. 0.229). Dimension of Readiness to take any Risk was not reflectively related to Company Performance. This dimension of pro-activity. Positive ang significant relation to dimension of pro-activity gave good indication on the existence of Corporate Entrepreneurship?s process and activities.
