FAKTOR PEMANFAATAN PELAYANAN ANTENATAL CARE DI PUSKESMAS BATUMARTA II KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ULU

- Antenatal Care or pregnancy examination aim to detect early risk factors that may occur during pregnancy. According to data WHO, estimates that 15% of pregnant women will be risk of complication and approximately 33-50% of maternal mortality cases were associated with low level of health service obtained during pregnancy. The coverage of antenatal care services at Puskesmas Batumarta II decreased from 2015 to 2017 with coverage percentage of K1 and K4 coverage were not reaching 95% target according to Minimum Service Standard. The purpose of this research is to know the utilization factor of Antenatal Care service at Batumarta II Primary health care of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. There were many factors that suspected to be related to the utilization of Antenatal Care such as education, knowledge, income, husband support, 5T service availability and parity. The study used a cross sectional study design. The sample in this study was mother who have baby aged 0-6 month that chosen based on cluster sampling method with 84 samples.Utilization of antenatal care sufficient that equal to 59,5%. The result of chi square test showed those there were to variables related to the utilization of Antenatal Care, knowledge (pvalue = 0.001), income (p-value = 0.001) and husband support (p-value = 0,000). There was no relation of education (p-value = 0,347), availability of health service 5T (p-value = 0,119) and parity (p-value = 0,146) with antenatal care utilization. It can be concluded that the variables of knowledge, income and support of husbands related to the utilization of Antenatal Care in Batumarta II Primary health care. A recommend to primary health care to socialize and provide family training program as the promotive and preventive strategy the aim of this program is to provide counseling for pregnant women and their husband.
