FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN HIPERTENSI DI INDONESIA (ANALISIS DATA IFLS 2014)

- Hypertension is a state when the pressure of blood in the veins increase in chronic. This can occur because the heart works harder pumping blood to meet the needs of the body's oxygen and nutrients. The disease is also called sillent killer. Hypertension is a State when the pressure of blood in the veins increase in chronic. The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia amounted to 26.5% in 2013 based on the Ministry of health. This study uses IFLS data 2014, to relationship factors with incident hypertension in Indonesia. This research is a quantitative research by using cross-sectional study design with sampling using multistage random sampling so that the sample obtained 31.072 respondents in accordance with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of peneltian showed that the variables that are associated with the incidence of hypertension are age (pvalue=0.000), employment status (p-value=0.000), marital status(pvalue= 0.000), smoking(p-value=0.000), obesity (p-value=0.000), sleep patterns(p-value =0.023) and psychological health (p-value=0.000). Suggestions in this study is the need for early detection of the disease of hypertension, dietary restraint by applying balanced nutrition patterns as well as the control of blood pressure.
