- This research examines the utilization of nonfarming sector by coffee farmers Bukit Besak village study in Tanjung Beringin village subdistrict South Merapi Lahat. In this study the author tried to describe how the utilization of nonfarming sector by coffee farmers are tours of Bukit Besak. This research used qualitative methods, that was the researcher directly involved in research through observation and interview. This study was qualitative descriptive. Based on the research that has been done, the result showed that there are some sectors that utilized by coffee farmers against Bukit Besak such sell foods and drinks, tour guide, homestay and parking land. Their main income as coffee farmers that only harvest once a year made them feel it helpful because from that they can add more their daily income and also can help construction of the village physically, such as th road leading to the garden, renovation of mosque, and repair of hanging bridge.
